File System Corruption in Mac OS X ?

Hi my dear friends, I have just run the md5sum check on a 300GB partition which I used as a reference partition which is mounted read only 99% of the time. My personal stuffs like music, e-books, videos, software programs and other things which will not change on it is kept here. Most files have md5sum checksum attached to them which is kept in a separate file. I run md5sum check every once in a blue moon. I ran one today and find the great alarm that 5 files none of which I have touched for more that 2 years have failed the md5sum check. Of the files I was able to recover from another source, I also found that the failure in every case involved a different of an entire 4kb sector. The error in each case involved incorrectly read data with no warning of a bad sector or a bad read, or some indication that the data may be corrupt. Is this like a hardware-related failure or a kernel software file system-related failure? What is the hardware error rate of a typical disk? How reliable is the Mac file system, and in what circumstances can corruption occur? Give me your feedbacks and suggestions.
Thanks.

File System Corruption may occur in Mac OS X due to various reasons. But the main thing is to consider is after effect of this. After corruption in file system you will not be able to access System properly and there is chance of data loss from your mac system. You may lose the data from your Mac system which is I think not good at all for you. Your hard work in making document file, your favorite music, video etc everything will go out from your hand and this is really a great disaster for you. But I have a solution for this and that is a tool which is good enough in the data recovery. Yes, you can use mac data recovery software to recover all data which you will lose after file corruption in Mac OS X. It is very easy to use OS X data recovery for recovery purpose. Simple interface and great design help you a lot. You can easily restore them at your specified location. This is good for all.
