Safari 4 hanging, whirling, not loading pages intermittently ?

Hi people, I have tried many suggestions on various posts on apple discussions like repairing permissions, settings the dns server to suggested settings, clearing out cache, deleting plist files. Sometimes safari files but still it hangs and chokes when I try to load he page. I sometime see the whirling symbol and the program becomes unresponsive. I downloaded the Mozilla Firefox 3 and it is working fine but what about my Safari. If you have any suggestions ad solutions, reply soon.
