Problem due to file system corruption
Mac operating system is one of the best operating system. It is widely used by business man, student and in home. File system is the most important part of any operating system. Mac OS is design with the advanced file system. HFS (Hierarchical file system) was the primary file system format used on Mac OS. There are three variants of HFS file system which are HFS+, HFSX and HFS Wrapper. Now HFS is replaced by HFS +.
HFS+ is the preferred file system on Mac OS X. It supports journaling, Finder information in metadata, quotas, byte-range locking, support for hiding file extensions on a per-file basis, multiple encodings, hard and symbolic links, aliases, etc. HFS+ uses B-Trees heavily for many of its internals. For the stable and proper functioning of Mac OS this file system is well suited.
But due to some reasons like improper system shut down, virus infection etc, file system gets corrupted and data become inaccessible. This causes critical data loss. After corruption when you try to boot mac system, the process fails in middle and prevents you to access data from hard drive with the error message-
“File system dirty, run fsck”
You need to do something before you face the situation of loss of all your personal data and information stored on the hard disk of Mac Computer. Mac includes an inbuilt file system check utility known as fsck. It automatically checks and correct file system issues like corruption or file system inconsistency during booting. But sometimes fsck doesn\'t help you. It fails to correct file system. Here you need to use other gauge to correct the issue. You can format the disk using Disk utility. But if data backup is not available, incomplete or damaged then you can use third party application.
Data recovery Mac is the safe and powerful recovery tool which you can used to recover lost data due to HFS HFS+ file system error. Now you can save your data.
