No Mountable File Systems

Getting ‘No Mountable File System’ Error while opening .dmg file?
Are you the victim of ‘No Mountable File System’ Error?

Mac’s OS X gives ‘No mountable File System’ error message when you try to open DMG files. DMG files are those files which are created by the Disk Utility of Mac’s OS with extension ‘.dmg’ (abbreviated as disk mounted graphics). DMG files are actually like an image of the complete contents of any data storage media like hard drive, CD, DVD, floppy disk etc. Mac users use this format because this format allows file compression of the data as well as secure password protection for proper file distribution and security functions. When this DMG file is mounted (the process to make the file system ready to use by the operating system) on a drive with the finder (which is responsible for management of user’s file, disks, network volumes and the launching of other application), it gives ‘No mountable File System’ error message because it doesn’t gets the file system in proper format to mount it to the Mac’s finder. Due to this reason your DMG file might get corrupted.

In order to recover those files from the corrupted disk image you need a recovery software called Mac Data Recovery software. This software can recover lost, corrupted, deleted and formatted data’s from Memory Cards, Apple iPods, Macintosh hard drives, USB Flash drives etc.

Mac Data Recovery software’s feature includes:
1. It is compatible with HFS, HFSX, HFS+ and FAT file system and ensures safe recovery of data without any alteration to the pre-saved data.
2. Its powerful algorithm of scanning ensures efficient recovery of formatted, deleted and corrupted data.
3. Its interactive and self -explanatory interface facilitates easy handling.
4. It recovers data fastly without costing intactness, safety and accuracy of the files.
5. It also creates sector by sector disk image of the selected hard drive.
